Carbon Footprint Consultant

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to help companies reduce their environmental impact? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and sustainability consulting? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Description

Companies today are increasingly confronted with the same question from clients, banks and partners: how well-substantiated is your climate impact? As a result, CO₂ analyses and reduction strategies are no longer a nice-to-have, but a basic requirement to remain competitive.

That is where you come in. As a Carbon Footprint Consultant, you will start in a role where you help companies gain insight into their CO₂ emissions and translate this into concrete decisions and actions. Not as a theoretical exercise, but as an integral part of their business strategy.

What will you do?

You will work daily on analysing and structuring CO₂ impact for our clients. Specifically, this means:

• conducting CO₂ analyses (Scope 1, 2 and 3)
• translating data into clear insights and priorities
• building reduction scenarios and strategic pathways
• contributing to reporting and substantiation towards clients, banks and other stakeholders

You will work closely with experienced consultants, while quickly taking ownership of your own projects.

What characterises this role?

This is not a role where you only perform calculations. You operate at the intersection of:

• data and analysis
• strategy and decision-making
• sustainability and business reality

You help companies not only understand where they stand, but also what they should do next and why.

Who are we looking for?

You are at the start of your career, so you are not expected to know everything yet. However, you recognise yourself in the following:

• a background in sustainability, engineering, biology, economics or a similar field
• strong analytical skills and accuracy when working with data
• an interest in understanding how businesses operate, not just how emissions are calculated
• the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• curiosity and a willingness to keep learning (CSRD, SBTi, LCA, …)
• a structured and responsible way of working
• a collaborative mindset, while also being able to work independently

Professional Dutch & English are required. French or German is a plus.

Do you not meet every requirement, but most of them? We would still love to hear from you.

What can you expect from us?

• an ambitious organisation with a clear vision
• a high-quality, in-depth working environment with knowledgeable colleagues
• projects that go beyond analysis, towards real impact
• room for both professional and personal growth
• an office in Antwerp + flexibility to work partly from home
• a gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €2,950, depending on education and relevant (internship) experience
• additional benefits (such as meal vouchers, Flex Income Plan, laptop, …)
• a growth path with regular evaluation moments and salary progression linked to responsibility and impact
