Sustainability is everywhere. From constant media coverage to conversations among businesses and individuals, the discourse
on sustainability has become omnipresent. Â However, amidst this dialogue, alarm signals are ringing. A multitude of scientific reports underscore a stark reality: existing legislation, promises, and actions fall short of what is truly necessary. Our environment is undergoing alarming transformations at an accelerating pace. The question now emerges: will we as organisations and as individuals proactively embrace change, or will external forces compel us to do so?
To offer viable insights into the matter, The Ecological Entrepreneur conducted a new 2023 research iteration among over 560 organisations, in collaboration with Antwerp University and Antwerp Management School.
